A lot of my pigeons are friendly and I usually have some one sitting on my shoulder when in the loft. I have recently weaned a youngster out of the stock loft. The Dam was always a favourite of John & Ben. She herself will fly and sit on me when I’m in the loft.

This youngster is going to follow on from its mum and has certainly inherited it’s dams friendly trait. It’s about 5 weeks old now and has just started coming out of the loft. A few days ago it flew down the garden to see us when we were sitting having a cup of tea. I had to catch it and take it back up to the loft. This morning it flew towards me when I was walking up the garden. It’s a bit stronger now and tried to land on me but couldn’t quite get it right. It flow back up towards the loft and landed in the tree beside the loft.

It did find it’s way back into the loft. Going to be a right character.

That's a nice baby.

I have pigeons sitting on me too.

The 'Billion Dollar baby', the Van Den Bulck, is straight on me when I go in the shed. It even stays there when I come outside but usually takes off when I get too far from the shed.

Some of them are characters alright.

I am good! They aren't firing rubber bullets at me. Yet.
Welcome to Victoria, 2021.
